Day Trip to Cambridge

1st November 2008..my day trip to Cambridge...

As planned, 3 busses fully loaded with students from University of Sheffield arrived at Queen's College around 11 am in Saturday morning..The weather not really promising, however it's not really affected our planned to have a great time at Cambridge..

Beautiful view of River Cam...

Infront of King's College. Welcome to King's College of Cambridge...

St Catherine's College... King's College

Me and K.Lin...Our honorary tourist guide...Hihihi...

Autumn, Cherry Blossom Tree and Me...
The Senate House...

Gonville and Caius College

Trinity's College..Very famous in Cambridge. View of River Cam...Punting is a Must-do activity in Cambridge..However, i do not have that chance since the weather really freezing to go for punt...

View from the Bridge of Sighs...

St. John's College

K.Lin was very happy to welcome us to her St. Edmunt's College..Look at her cheerfull face...

This was activity that I insisted to have...Climbing up the apple tree behind K.Lin's college...Wow! so excited...Not as good as K.Lin since she was used to this activity for her own survival..Apples from those tree is her one and only meal at Cambridge..No wonder she looked so skinny..Hahaha..

Apple...An apple a day, Keeps a dentist away...

Grapes from New Hall College...

Grapes and Me... What a perfect combination! Hah??

Having our lunch at Wagamama, Japanese Restaurant at Cambridge...Sorry, no photo since I'm really hungry...No time to take a photo..
After lunch, K.Lin took us to Emmanual College to feed the duck in the pond..

Emmanual's pond with wild ducks waiting to be fed...Luckily I have some biscuits in my bag..

Emmanual College front view..The day getting dark but it was only half past three in afternoon..Autumn going to Winter..So it was normal here..

Corpus Christi Clock....Looks scary and wicked...But this was the latest invention of Cambridge and it cost 1Million GBP and tooks 5 years to complete...For more info, feel free to visit K.lin's blog...

So this was the end of our visit to Cambridge...I wish we have more time to visit the place..However, I'm really satisfied with it..and hope will be back again...And hope K.Lin and Mr. T will visit us at Sheff soon as they promise to do so..

Goodies from Cambridge....Apples from St. Edmunt's College...Sweet and juicy...

and Chelsea Bun for my breakfast (K.Lin treat)...Delicious but really sweet..Not recommended for Diabetic patient..
Would like to thanks K.Lin for her generousity and her warmer welcomed to her University..It's nice having you there...
